Apr 1st - May 1st, 2026: Call for Nominations: Academy of Doctoral PAs Board of Directors

Dear ADPA Membership,

The Academy of Doctoral PAs (ADPA) is pleased to announce the official call for nominations for the upcoming Board of Directors election. We invite engaged and committed voting ADPA members to participate in shaping the future of doctoral education for PAs by submitting nominations for leadership positions.

Open Position:

●      President-Elect: Term 2027-2029

Nomination Period:April 1st – May 1st, 2026

Nominations may be submitted in two ways:

●      Nomination of a colleague (please ensure the individual is aware of the nomination and has agreed to be considered prior to submission)

●      Self-nomination

All nominees must be members in good standing with ADPA.

Submission Instructions:To submit a nomination, please email info@padoc.org with the subject line formatted as follows:ADPA Call for Election Nomination_Last Name, First Name_Position

Example:ADPA Call for Election Nomination_Stead, Eugene_Treasurer

Following submission, the Nominating Committee will contact each nominee to request the following materials. Please note that nominees will have seven days from initial contact by ADPA to submit all required materials. Only complete submissions received within this timeframe will be eligible for consideration for the ballot.

●      Curriculum Vitae (CV)

●      Professional headshot

●      Written responses to the following questions:

1.     What is your vision for the future of doctoral education for PAs, and how should the Academy lead that direction? (please limit response to 250 words or less)

2.     How will you actively contribute to advancing the mission and tangible outcomes of the Academy of Doctoral PAs? (please limit response to 250 words or less)

3.     Please share your vision of effective teamwork and your approach to leading a team.

4.     How will you represent a diverse membership with varying perspectives on doctoral education while ensuring all voices are heard? (please limit response to 250 words or less)

Serving on the ADPA Board of Directors is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the continued growth, advocacy, and advancement of doctoral education within the PA profession.
