With a Doctor of Medical Science degree and dual certifications as a Physician Associate and Certified Aesthetic Consultant, she has trained more than 350 providers across the U.S., empowering practices to deliver evidence-based, results-driven care for over 20 years.
As Founder and Owner of Twelve Twenty Eight Wellness, Dr. Collins pioneered The 1228 Protocol™ and The 1228 Method™—innovative systems that integrate functional medicine, regenerative therapies, and advanced aesthetics to optimize health and beauty at the cellular level. Her work spans clinical practice, curriculum development, consulting, and licensing models that are redefining the medspa industry through science, strategy, and scalability. Known for her ability to simplify complex science into practical application, Dr. Collins is dedicated to education, advocacy, and leaving a lasting legacy of innovation in integrative regenerative aesthetics.
Dr. Collins earned her Doctor of Medical Science with a concentration in Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. A board-certified Physician Associate, her areas of expertise include Osteopathic Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Precision Medicine. She is also a proud member of the Florida Physician Assistant Dermatology Society, the Florida Association of Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the PA Doctors organization, where she currently serves as Director at Large for the Association of Doctoral PAs.
With more than 18 years of direct experience in advanced combination therapy rooted in Facial Plastics and Otolaryngology, Regenerative Medicine, and Regenerative Aesthetics, Dr. Collins has been injecting since 2006. She became a Certified Aesthetic Consultant (CAC) in 2015 and has guided the development and compliance of multiple physician practices and medspas. Her role as a national trainer for AIAM has allowed her to mentor providers in PDO threads, platelet-rich fibrin, microcannulas, and advanced combination therapies, often alongside leading experts such as Dr. Kian Karimi and Dr. Anil Rajani.
In 2017, Dr. Collins launched Twelve Twenty Eight Mobile Medical Wellness, a concierge regenerative and aesthetic practice using a restored 1973 Airstream to provide care to uninsured individuals. The practice’s name is a tribute to both the anniversary of the first U.S. IVF birth and her twin daughters, who were conceived through IVF. In 2020, she expanded to a brick-and-mortar Atlanta location, offering custom aesthetic and regenerative trainings.
Her signature 1228 Protocol™ has been applied in treating dance injuries, scar therapy, oncology aesthetics, and anti-aging. Beyond patient care, Dr. Collins is active in device development, patent innovation, and serves as a medical consultant. She is also a certified life coach with expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy.
A prior Allergan Black Diamond Provider, Dr. Collins has been repeatedly recognized as a top professional in her field. She was voted Top DMS and PA-C in the country in 2022 and 2023 and received the Regenerative and Aesthetic Trainer and Facility of the Year Award in December 2023. She continues to publish and research actively, with current studies on Annexin in COVID-19, autologous stem cells, and stromal vascular fraction in traumatic brain injury and autoimmune conditions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Collins is an alum of the NFL Cheerleaders, a member of the NFL Alumni and Cheerleaders Alumni Association, and a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic violence and scar therapy patients. In her free time, she enjoys boating, fishing, archery, and most importantly, time with her twin daughters.
